Please enjoy my contribution to the Prison for Bitches Lady GaGa Fanzine edited by Ryan Sands and Michael Deforge.
Do yourself a favor and order a copy. Even if, like me and Michel Gondry, you find the lady a little blah blah, there is an AMAZING contributors list.

Congratulations to Calvin, who’s hi-larious Hattie & Mille made the 2009 Best Comics list and to Dan, who is saving the werewolves!
Also, Ryan Sands‘ Electric Ant Zine 2 ft. many of my favorite folks is out now too (full list of contributors).
AND, December 1st the new R. Kelly album is out. Can’t wait to hear the final mix of ‘Pregnant‘!
And, finally, did you see all the Google Sesame Street Logos? I designed those, man!

If you need more evidence that I am a geek, my college bff Dan Redding just posted an interview with me in the blog department of his new and lovely design site Magnetic State.
Check it out for a great chance to comment tl;dr.

The Alternative Press Expo last month was a hoot! Germart represented with the debut of Dyl & Nate’s Planet Booty album and Consumer Comics Vol. 1, which I put together with a cameo by Miki Amano.
It was also heartening to see the hilarious new mini-comic “Ramble On” from Calvin Wong, the purty, smack talkin’ “Jin & Jam” fancy comic by Hellen Jo, and the worth-waiting-for and very pink Electric Ant Zine.

In honor of its four-year anniversary, here’s “My Boyfriend is a Freak!”, a classic photo comic starring Chris Dapkins (of Elk Creek Cinema), Miki Amano, and Nathan G.
Conceived, shot, and mucked together by your’s truly.

A hearty thank you to Jessie Grace and Andy (pictured above) for putting me up in Portland for the 2008 Stumptown Comics Fest. (You really ought to check out Andy’s righteous folk rock band Bark Hide and Horn!) Thanks also to Cal Wong and Hellen Jo for the continual inspiration and letting me tag along.

Check out this nice slice-of-NYC-life story in the NY Press by longtime Germart friend & associate Dave Rodich.

Check out this inspirational interview with design great and friend Frank Olinsky at Spraygun.
